It seems that LG will launch another WI-FI only tablet that is powered by Android Oreo is early 2019.
The upcoming LG Android tablet with the model number LG-V426 has just received the necessary certification from the Bluetooth SIG today, which signals that it should soon be ready to make its official debut.
In October 2018, The LG-V426 received the WI-Fi Alliance Certification. As per the listing on Wi-Fi Alliance website, The LG-V426 comes with Android Oreo 8.1 and supports Dual-Bands WI-FI, both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz channels.
Furthermore, The LG-V426 model number was spotted on Google Android zero-touch website, which confirms that the tablet feature Android zero-touch support.
In the list of Google Play supported Devices, The LG-V426 was listed as ‘B6’ – which is also the mode name for LGT02 – LG G Pad 8.0 III.
For your information, The LG G Pad 8.0 III LGT02 was released in Japan in 2017. Powered by a 1.4GHz MSM8917 CPU., The LG G Pad 8.0 III LGT02 features an 8.0″WXGA IPS display and comes with Android Nought 7.0 Out of the BOX.

We believe that the LG-V426 and LGT02 – LG G Pad 8.0 III are exactly the same device with the same hardware specs. The only difference is that the LG-V426 will ship with Android Oreo 8.1.
There is a huge possibility that the upcoming LG-V426 will be launched in Japan and other countries in East Asia only.
