Sprint LG V50 ThinQ 5G Gets FCC Approval as Launch Nears

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has formally approved the Sprint LG V50 ThinQ 5G for launch, suggesting that the device could be hitting store shelves in short order.

AT MWC 2019 in Barcelona, LG and Sprint unveiled the LG V50 ThinQ 5G smartphone. It is Sprint’s first 5G phone manufactured by LG Electronics.

The LG V50 ThinQ 5G smartphone was approved by the FCC on February 28.  According to the SAR Test report submitted to the FCC, The model name of Sprint LG V50 ThinQ 5G is LMV450PM or V450PM.


The FCC documents also mention that the SprintLG V50 ThinQ supports 5G Bands NR band N41.

As to 4G LTE bands, the device supports LTE (FDD) 1900(B2/B25)/1700(B4/B66)/850(B5)/ 800(B26)/700(B12/B13/B17)/600(B71) MHz, LTE (TDD) 2500(B41) MHz.
