Will Sprint launch the metal-clad LG Class?

A new LG handset which could possibly be the Sprint version LG Class (LG Zero) has surfaced online as it passed through the FCC. The LG device has the model number LG-LS675 and has received certification from the FCC in the U.S., suggesting that its release is not far away.


The LG Class is a metal-clad Android handset that was unveiled back in September, It recently launched in Europe as the LG Zero. LG Zero is now available in Greece and Italy in gold and silver with $320 pricetag.

LG Zero features a 5-inch HD IPS display with 720×1280 pixels resolution and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC along with 1.5GB of RAM while the LG Class comes with 2GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB of internal memory with expandable storage capacity up to 2TB via microSD card.

It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box and features a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 8-megapixel front facing camera. It measures 142×71.8×7.4mm and weighs 147 grams. There is a 2050 mAh battery available and 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, NFC and Micro-USB connectivity options are included. It will be available in Gold and Silver color variants.

The LG Class for Sprint could be available soon in early 2016.
