A new LG handset with model number LG H220 has made an appearance in a UA Profile on LG official website.
According to the UA Profile, The LG H220 will pack a display with a resolution of 800×480. Unfortunately the screen size was not mentioned.
The model number was first spotted in a leaked document under project code “Y30”. The LG Y30 is a 3G only handset, said our tipster. According to LG’s name pattern, The LG H220 could be a variant of the LG L30 successor.
Launched in 2014, The LG L30 is the third generation of LG Series smart phones which sports a 3.2-inch 240 x 320 display. If this is a variant of the LG L30 successor, this would mean that it will have a screen with higher resolution compared to its predecessor.
We also found some other model variants which are listed under the “C30” project code:
LG H220 – CIS Russia
LG H221 – Mexico
LG H222f / h222g– Brazil TIM / SCA
The handset will come with Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box; other specs of the handsets remain unknown for now.
The next generation of the LG L III series smart phone is expected to be announced at MWC 2015.
