Possible 4.7-inch LG L70 successor spotted at Zauba website

A LG handset known as “Y70” which could be the LG L70 successor has been spotted in India’s import-export tracking website,Zauba.com, revealing a 4.7-inch screen and running Android 5.0 Lollipop.

In a early leaked document, A LG handset with model number LG-H422 was listed under project code “Y70” with a 720X1280 pixel display.

If this is a variant of the LG L70 successor, this would mean that it will have a larger screen with higher resolution compared to its predecessor. Launched in 2014.
The LG L70 is the third generation of LG Series smartphones which sports a 4.5-inch WVGA (480 x 800) pixel display.

According to the Zauba listing, the handset will come with Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box, Other specs of the handsets remain unknown for now.

We also found some other model variants which are listed under the “Y70” project code:

LGH420F – Mexcio
LGH422 – CIS / Brazil BTM
LGH420 – Europe
GH422TV – Brazil.

So far, we have not found any “Y70” variants for the U.S. carriers.
