LG X Power 2 coming soon to Sprint and U.S. Cellular

A new LG handset which could be the mid-range LG X Power 2 for Sprint and  U.S. Cellular has just been certified by the FCC.

According to the FCC documents, the new LG handset has two model variants, namely the LG SP320 and LG US601. According to our tipster, the LG SP320 is the X power 2 coming to Sprint, and the LG US601 is the LG X Power 2 for U.S. Cellular.

The LG X Power 2 is powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor, but the US version is likely to include a 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 CPU. Unlike the international model that packs 1.5GB RAM and 16GB internal memory, the US model will feature 2GB RAM and 32GB expandable storage.

Other highlights of the phone include a 5.5-inch display with HD (720p) resolution, a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 5-megapixel selfie snapper and Android 7.0 Nougat.

At the moment,  Sprint has not announced the pricing and upcoming availability of the LG x power 2. We believe that the X power 2 will be available soon from Sprint and U.S. Cellular.

Stay tuned.
