LG releases Android PIE kernel source code for the LG G7 ThinQ LMG710N

In November 2018, LG launched the Android PIE Beta Update for the LG G7 ThinQ LMG710N in South Korea.

Later, LG officially released their Q1 2019 update roadmap, and the South Korea Version of the LG G7 ThinQ is expected to receive an official update to Android Pie in the first quarter of 2019.

Today, LG published the kernel source code for Android PIE for the LG G7 ThinQ LMG710N on LG’s Open source code distribution website.

[Update] In the kernel source code for LG G7 ThinQ, Several Config files for SPR (Sprint) and VZW (Verizon) was included.

Is it a hint that the LG G7 ThinQ from Sprint and Verizon Wireless will also get the Android PIE Update in the first Quarter of 2019?

AT&T (ATT) and T-mobile (TMO) were not mentioned in the code.

So far, LG has published the PIE kernel for three models, namely the LMG710N, LMQ910UM, and LMX5LG. We have not seen the PIE kernel for LG V40, LG V30, and LG G6 yet.
