Need to sideload the stock kdz firmware onto your LG G8 ThinQ?
Follow below guide to flash the stock firmware with LGUP and restore your LG G8 ThinQ back to stock.
What You Need:
- LGUP 1.15 – LGUP_cmd.exe
- LGU USB Drivers
- LGUP DLL for LG G8 ThinQ
- Stock firmware for your LG G8 model
Step 1. Install LGUP 1.15, You can get LGUP 1.15 via this link.
After installing the LGUP 1.15, YOU will have lgup_cmd.exe in the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\LG Electronics\LGUP\
Step2, Download and install LG USB Driver 4.4.2
Step 4, Download LGUP DLL for LG G8 ThinQ
Step 4, Download the latest firmware for your LG G8 ThinQ, Below is the firmware for LG G8 Korea Open

Now you have everything ready, Just put LG_G8.DLL, G820NO10m_00_OPEN_KR_OP_0712.kdz into the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\LG Electronics\LGUP\
Run the cmd.exe from your windows, and from the command prompt screen, input the following command:
lgup_cmd.exe portsXXX "LGUP_G8.DLL" "G820NO10m_00_OPEN_KR_OP_0712.kdz"
