LG G7 One is getting Android 9.0 Pie Update in Canada

LG is rolling out the Android 9.0 Pie Update for the LG G7 ONE (LMQ910UM or Q910UM) in Canada, According to a G7 one users at XDA forum.

  • Android OS Upgrade
  • Camera functionality has been improved.
  • Usability improvements through Google patch.

The Update includes the Android 9.0 PIE Upgrade and  Nov. 1 Android Security Patch.

It is reported that only the LG G7 one users from Bell Canada are getting the Android PIE 9.0 Update.  The Update is now available via OTA only!

Just tried to install the Update through LG Bridge, but LG Bridge says that there is no Update available for download.

The LG G7 ONE in Canada come with the model number LMQ910UM.  The Stock ANDROID 9.0 PIE firmware for LG G7 One comes in “KDZ” file extensions will be available for download very soon.

When Will LG G7 ThinQ get the Android 9.0 Update?

LG is still testing the Android 9 Pie beta firmware for the South Korea Version of the LG G7 thinQ – LMG710N-V18b-KOR-XX-NOV-07-2018+0. 

It is reported that LG will launch LG G7 thinQ Android 9.0 Beta program this month.  LG will roll out the Android PIE 9.0 Beta to some LG G7 users in South Korea first and the stable Android 9.0 PIE update for the G7 thinQ will be released later.
