The new LG device carrying model number LG-D722V was spotted in FCC Filing with the support for LTE bands B1, B3, B7, and B20.
Back in April, we seen the LG D722 in a UA profile on the LG official website and in June the LG-D722 was spotted again in a Zabau.com listing which suggested that the handset will feature a 4.5 inch display. However, it seems the listing was wrong. According to LG-D722’s FCC Filing, the dimensions are 137.2 mm x 68.5mm (L x W) and its Display Diagonal is 127.0mm (5″ display).
LG-D722’s variant with model number LG-D729 was recently shown off in China as The LG G3 Beat. The Alias LG-D725 for AT&T has also received FCC Approval and yet another variant with model number LG-D724 will be released in CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States – formerly the Soviet Union) as the G3 S.
At the moment, we cannot tell what the final market name of the LG D722 will be. Since LG has already filed trademarks for G3 Mini and G3 Beat, LG might be releasing the LG-D722 as G3 Beat in Europe.
Hardware wise, The LG D722 comes with a 5″ IPS LCD 720p HD screen, a 1.2Ghz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 8GB of onboard memory storage, 1GB of RAM, 2,540mAh battery, an 8MP back camera with OIS, a 2MP front camera and 4.4.2 KitKat with Lg’s latest UI.
