LG could launch LG K40 smartphone in 2019

It seems that LG will continue to launch its K series smartphone, namely the LG 40, the next generation of the LG K30 in 2019.

According to the database of USPTO (the United States Patent and Trademark Office), LG has filed trademarks for the LG K40 name.

LG official released the K30 smartphone in May 2018.  The T-mobile version of the LG K30 boasts a 5.3-inch 720p 16:9 touchscreen, a 13 MP main camera with LED flash, a 5 MP selfie shooter, and a 2,880 mAh battery. It’s powered by the Snapdragon 425 chipset from Qualcomm, aided by 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.

In the U.S., The LG K30 is currently available from T-mobile, MetroPCS, Sprint, Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile.

Maybe LG will announce the LG K40 at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona this month.

Several days ago, an LG device with the model number LMX420 received the Bluetooth SIG certification, Since the official model name of the LG K30 is LMX410,  we believe that the LMX420 is the upcoming LG K40 Smartphone.

The LG K40 will be available in South Korea first and then in the U.S., European countries and other markets.
