Like many other Sprint devices, The LG Tribute Empire LMX220PM supports Update OTA (Over-the-Air) Only. Sprint or LG does not provide the stock kdz firmware for LG Tribute Empire LMX220PM

Without the stock firmware, You will not be able to restore your LG Tribute Empire if you bricked it.

How to restore/unbrick your LG Tribute Empire LMX220PM

After the DUMP process, You will have a file named system_com3 (In my case, LGUP use com port 3)

Please rename system_com3 to system.img.

Now, Run the LGUP, Select “Partition DL”,  click BIN File or the three dots to select the system.img.

Click Start to flash the system.img onto your phone.
After reboot, You will have your LG Tribute Empire phone back to stock.
ATTENTION: You should not flash a system.img of V20a firmware onto a phone with v10a firmware.
The software version of system.img should match exactly the software version of your phone.
