LG had started rolling out a new software update with February 2020 Security patch for the Verizon LG G8 ThinQ.
In January 2020, The Verizon LG G8 ThinQ received the stable Android 10 (Q) software update which also includes the December 2019 security patch.
Now, the LG G8 ThinQ on Verizon Wireless is getting the February 2020 android security patch update.,
The update arrives as software version G820UM20B_02 which is based on Android 10 (Q).
The latest software update includes:
- The most up to date Android security patches
- An enhancement to conference calling that includes the participant’s City and State

The Update has been available via OTA (Firmware over-the-Air) for a while. Starting from March 23, 2020, Verizon LG G8 ThinQ users can use LG Bridge to install the Update.
