LG LS885 (A possible G3 mini variant) Approved By FCC

Back in March, we saw a mysterious LG device bearing model number “LS885” in a UA Profile on Sprint official website. Now it appears that the LS885 has just received FCC’s approval.


The information coming from LS885’s documents filed at FCC do not offer more details on the upcoming smart phone’s software and hardware specifications.

The LG LS885 features Quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 MSM8926 Soc with 1GB of RAM, Other Rumored specifications of the LG LS885 include a 720p display, a 8MP rear camera, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage as well as 4G LTE network connectivity.

As usual, an FCC filing doesn’t suggest immediate availability. The LG LS885 for Sprint is expected to be officially introduced in Q3 2014. When more information pops up, we will be there.

[Update] It seems that the LS885 is not the G pro 2 lite.


The G Pro 2 lite VS880 ’s Dimensions (Length x Width) is 152.1 mm x 79.2 mm, The display diagonal is 145.4 mm (about 5.7inch).
The LG LS885’s dimension(Length x Width) is 137.75mmX69.6mm.
