A new LG handset sporting model number LG-US995 was recently approved by the FCC.
According to the FCC documents, the LG US995 handset supports 4G LTE bands 2,4,5,12,17 and 25.
The “US” prefix in the model number suggests that it is a device for U.S Cellular.
The LG G3 for U.S Cellular comes with model number LG-US990, so this LG US995 could be the LG G Flex 2 for U.S Cellular.
Moreover, the model number US995 was spotted in a UA Profile on LG official website. Here are some models variants of LG G flex 2 known so far:
LG LS996 – Sprint
LG US995 – U.S. cellular
LG H950 – AT & T
LG H955 – International.
The G Flex 2 LS996 for Sprint was already listed on LG official website. The LG H950 was spotted in an UA profile too. It could be the G flex 2 on its way to AT & T.
Although the approval does not reveal a US release date, it does suggest that the G flex 2 will be released in the US soon.
