My LG G2 Stuck at TWRP, Asked by Tracy Hill;

Question:

Please Help please! My lg g2 was rooted with the stock 4.4.2 and I had twrp recovery installed on it and like a dummy I pressed okay when I reviewed the knock code update and the phone rebooted into twrp and now when I try to reboot system it just keeps going right back to the recovery. Ive tried and tried to get it into download Mode and that’s not working either I’ve also installed the LG Drivers to my desktop and the phone will not be recognized and I have no idea where to turn for help. It seems like it’s hard Bricked. When I turn the phone on the LG logo appears and it goes to recovery. Is there anything at all that I can do? Or is the phone damaged forever? How can I get it into Download? If you can take time out of your Busy day to Assist me I would be grateful thanks so kindly

Solution:

From the TWRP terminal command type

dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/fota

then hit enter

type

dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/misc

then hit enter and reboot.

Then proceed to Download Mode and Restore Your LG G2 to stock 4.2.2 using a Flashtool and Stock ROM for G2.

Feedback

Hey,thank you so much for your timely response and help. The Link you provided for me yesterday worked like a Charm and I was able to execute the Terminal Commands then proceed to Download Mode and ultimately in the end restore my LG G2 to stock 4.2.2 using a LG Flash tool and some other files. I downloaded the USB drivers and I used COM 41 flash with the tool. My phone was saved because of you! Thanks!
