Kill Switch missing in U.S. LG G3 models: AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon and Sprint

LG’s highly-anticipated LG G3 smartphone has been unveiled with McAfee’s ‘kill-switch’ security feature.But All for major US carriers, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint and AT&T will not offer the LG G3 with ‘kill-switch’ feature.

According to a leaked document obtained by, The McAfee is not preload on G3 for Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint and AT&T.


The good news is that US Cellular and ACG (Associated Carrier Group) version of the LG G3 will comes with McAfee;s ‘kill-switch’ security feature.

For your information, The kill switch feature is designed to deactivate the phone and render it unusable when stolen. Partners With McAfee, LG bring the kill switch feature to the LG G3.
