Verizon G Pad 7.0 VK410 users who have bricked their devices may follow our step-by-step guide below to unbrick the tablet and restore stock Firmware using LG’s new LG UP flash Tool.

What You need:

1) Download and Install LG USB drivers for Verizon Devices
2) Download and Install LG UP Software
3) Download and Install LG VK410 DLL file for LG UP Flash Tool
4) Download LG VK410 STOCK FIRMWARE: VK41023A_00.kdz

How to unbrick LG Pad 7.0 VK410 with LG UP Flash Tool

Step 1) Connect the VK410 tablet to the computer using USB cable. Ensure that LG USB Drivers are installed on the PC, so that the computer will recognise the tablet.

Step 2) Run the LG UP, If you the LG UP can recognise the VK410 tablet. Go Step 5

If the LG UP can not find your device, Check if there is LGUP_vk410.dll in “C:\Program Files (x86)\LG Electronics\LGUP\model\VK410” directory. Go Step 3

Step 3) If LG UP can’t find your device, you need to put your phone into download mode manually by

Turn off your phone, press and hold “Volume Up” button and plug in the USB cable from your computer to the phone.>

Step 4) Now run the LG UP, waiting for LG UP install necessary USB drivers for your Phone. When LG UP screen shows up. Go Step 5

Step 5)

From LG UP Screen, Process option, Select Refurbish
Click Bin File, Select the KDZ/TOT file you just download
And Then Click start.
Wait until the step shows 100% complete, unplug USB cable, and reboot your phone.

You may need to Perform a Factory Reset on LG VK410:

In status of power off,
press power button + volume down button and hold over 10sec.
Select ‘Factory data reset’.
Select ‘Yes’.
